Pieschel has been serving The W in many ways, be it big or small. Whether it is advising the International Student Association for years or donating her grandmother’s punch bowl to Painter Hall, there are countless ways that Pieschel has left a lasting impression in the university.

As the new coronavirus, COVID-19, sweeps the entire world, the Mississippi University for Women campus hasn’t been spared by the pandemic. As in-person classes, events and gatherings have been canceled, students have departed campus sooner than expected.

Politics at Mississippi University for Women often seems to involve a small percentage of the student body, but there are two clubs keeping students active and informed.

Mississippi University for Women and other campus organizations will be hosting several events on campus in celebration for Black History Month.

Originally, my roommate did not want to have an animal in the dorm, so I just waited until the second semester that year, but it took me about a semester to get him approved.  That was before it was as stream-lined as the process is now.  He was actually one of the first ESAs on campus, I think.
