Here’s what’s happening around town for the week of Nov. 2- Nov. 8.

The Ghosts & Legends Tours will be held on Friday, Nov. 7 and Saturday, Nov. 8.

The bus tours are scheduled to be leaving the Tennessee Williams home at 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on both nights.

“This will be an escorted bus journey where ‘visitors’ of bygone eras share the history and mystery of Columbus' historically colorful past,” said Beverly Norris, program director for the Columbus-Lowndes Conventions and Visitors Bureau.

The First Columbus Memorial Sacred Harp Singing will be on Saturday, Nov. 8, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

“Sacred Harp Singing is a joyous, uplifting experience,” said Norris.

Guests will participate in this special day, which includes Sacred Harp history and instruction, group singing, great fellowship and a potluck lunch.
