The Young Black Leadership Association (YBLA) hosted YBLA Week on April 8-12.
On April 8, the group sponsored karaoke/poetry night in the W room from 8-10 p.m. Refreshments were served. On April 9, it hosted a pool party in Stark Recreation Center from 6:30-9 p.m. Refreshments were also served.
On April 10, it held an HIV/AIDs Awareness Program in the cafe from 11 a.m.-1:30p.m., and on April 12, there was a community service with the MUW Sigmas which started at 6:30 a.m.
YBLA is an organization on campus that provides opportunity for students at the W to grow leadership skills. It also promotes community service and academic excellence in school.
