Here’s what’s happening around town for the week of Sept.7-14.


The Tennessee Williams Tribute and Exhibit will start at the Columbus-Lowndes Library on Sept. 5-24 from 9 a.m.-7 p.m at 317 7th Street North.


Then, the 13th Annual Tennessee Williams Exhibit and Tour will begin on September 8-14. For more information email MUW University Relations.


The "Glass Menagerie," a Tennessee Williams play, will be performed on Sept. 8-13 in Whitfield Hall on the campus of Mississippi University for Women. The admission will be $15, and it will begin at 7:30 p.m. each night.


The Columbus-Lowndes Library will host the "Friend of the Library Sale" on Thursday, Sept. 11, from 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The library will be selling novels, histories, biographies, cookbooks, children’s books, sports books and much more.


Last, but certainly not least, the Columbus Fair and Livestock Show will be in town from Wednesday, Sept. 10, through Saturday, Sept. 13. Admission will be $2 per person and armbands this year will be $20.
