This season the Owls men’s basketball team is sporting a record of 12-11 with a 9-7 record in conference play. So far this season the Owls are being led in points and assists by Eric Bass Jr. who is putting up an impressive 11 points per contest all while adding 3 assists per ball game to the stat sheet. James Dukes is leading rebounds and is pulling down 6 boards per game. Cam Smith is the Owls leading rim protector sporting 1.1 blocks per game all while Chris Evans is creating havoc by leading the Owls with 1.1 steals per contest.
The men’s team is expected to win a berth in the upcoming SLIAC tournament.

This season the Lady Owls are sporting a record of 7-16 with a 6-10 record in conference play.
The Lady Owls are currently being led in points, assists and steals by superstar Calysia Phillips who is putting up an impressive 17.8 points, 4.1 assists and 3.6 steals. Reshya Hudson is the team leader in rebounds, and she is pulling down a whopping 7.9 boards every contest.
Conley Langford is also reporting impressive stats and earned Owl of the week in late January. Langford is putting up an impressive 16.1 points and 5.1 rebounds per contest all while leading the team in total points scored this season with 370.
It won’t be long until the SLIAC tournament begins for the top six teams, and the Lady Owls are currently in 7th place in the standings with at least two games remaining before regular season play finishes.
The team’s final regular-season game will be on Saturday, Feb. 22, at 1 p.m. against Spalding University, which is currently one game ahead of The W in the standings.
