Mississippi University for Women hosted its fifth-annual haunted house on campus, courtesy of The W Leadership Program, from Oct. 11-13. The theme of this year’s haunted house was “American Horror Story.”
“Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because I get to cook with my mom and my two sisters. It’s not about buying gifts or who can outdo who. It’s just a meal.”
Q: What do you wish you’d known before joining your major?
“I wish I would have known I could dual enroll in high school. I’m not behind, but I would be ahead of the game if I would have taken some classes in high school.” - Jasmine Stamps, sophmore, Nursing
Q: Why do you feel Black History Month is important?
“Every month should be focused on all races, not necessarily just one month. The history of the United States isn’t just about the history of white people, so it should also be black people.”
